Before & After: Natural Beauty

I had a little bit 'o fun today (ok, maybe a lot 'o bit) editing some photos from one of my latest photoshoots.

Here are some Before & Afters...and Wow...what a bit of difference a few clicks here and there can make. What I love about these is that they aren't "distorted" by the edits...they are still natural - it's as if I had a beautiful sunny day - instead of a drab, chilly, bleak day (which it was).

I enjoy bringing out the natural beauty in people (sometimes I get an itch for something REALLY dramatic, though). I've learned that the more natural your photo is...the BETTER. Less is better, that's for sure. And learning that lesson has cut my editing time IN HALF. Phew.

So cute! Isn't Photoshop awesome? What did we ever do before it came along? :)

That little girl is darling! Great job editing these photos. There isn't much to do when you get it right in camera, and you definitely did that. I always meter a bit on the lighter side, too. That's usually the trick. =)
