The Droplet

Amy over at My Front Porch Looking In commented on my previous post and said, "WOW. Did you actually get pictures of the water drops falling off the icicles? You are amazing."

For the record, I'm not tootin' my own horn with that last sentence. I just felt kinda bad leaving it out, too...otherwise it wasn't a direct quote. Know what I mean?

Anyway...the answer is...well, I guess...yes-ish. BUT, I didn't get the ideal shot I was looking for. So, because I was soooo inspired again by the beauty which is ice, I went back out to capture a series of photos for the purpose of the droplets. And because today, the ice was melting much faster, it seemed easier to catch a few of these droplets.

Here is one such example. Now, THAT'S what I was going for!

Just one, though. For a few more check out THIS album. :)

How cool that you even got the sun in there twice! You have such an eye for photography!

Oh wait, now that I look at the picture again, the sun is actually in there 3 times (at the start of the droplet too)! I'm sure you already knew that. Very beautiful.
